At Providence we treat seniors with all types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s, by seeing beyond the diagnosis to the individual within. Each day our experienced caregivers manage the challenges of dementia, while helping our clients maintain their sense of autonomy, independence, and quality of life.

Instead of “doing it for them,” we encourage seniors to “re-learn” lost skills. To enhance our client’s quality of life, enhance we create individual, effective personalized care plans that consider medical, behavioral, social and environmental elements In 20+ years of providing dementia and Alzheimer’s care, we’ve put in place an extensive staff training program designed to help preserve our client’s cognitive ability through tools specifically developed to improve memory, and add joy to life.

Our caregivers focus on function, cognition, and the emotional well being of our clients. We read the subtle cues and find ways to communicate with our clients to bring positive reinforcement and encourage them to flourish.
